Elsas Hus is a cultural house that exists since 1998. Our target group is youth between 15 and 20 years and our main goal is to inspire young people during their leisure time. Elsas Hus consists of a screen print room, rehearsal rooms, a stage, a cinema, an art wall and of course, the café in which everyone is welcome. For our target group it’s always possible to borrow the rooms for free and start being creative. Everyone can come up with an idea and then we try to support and make it become real.
Elsas Hus is part of Studiefrämjandet and gets supported by
the municipality of Linköping. Now, we have been working with
EVS-volunteers for seven years as a sending, host, and co-ordinating
organisation and hope to get the chance to continue with that.
