1 - FIND A SENDING ORGANIZATION.
The first step is to get in contact with a sending
organisation in your home country. You can find the sending
organisations checking the database. Elsas Hus is also a sending
organisation, so don’t hesitate to get in contact with us! For being
successful you should start searching about minimum 8 months before
you’d like to take part in a project.
2 - LOOK FOR A PROJECT.
After finding an organisation
you should think about what you want to do and of course where you want
to do it. Do you want to protect the environment in Ireland? Or do you
want to make art in Italy? No problem. Just check the database and
search for interesting projects. The database is constantly being updated but some of the projects could not be active at the moment.
3 - APPLY FOR IT
The next step would be to write
motivation letters. With a motivation letter you apply for a project.
The sending organisation should get to know your person and what your
ambitions, qualifications and aims are. If you aren’t really sure how to
write the letter, just check out the tips in the blog. Maybe they can
help you to get ideas and answer some of your questions.
4 - WAITING
Now it’s
time to wait. Don’t lose hope if it takes some time to get feedback from
the host organisations. If you are lucky your application is successful
and you can speak about the rest with your sending and host
organisations that will help you to manage it.
